Brake gurus identification help please
Can someone that knows much more than me confirm what calipers I have on the front of my '75 911? I thought they were "M"s and the rebuild kit I ordered as such certainly seems to fit right but a brake pad order has thrown what I think I know into question.
There seems to be 3.75-4" between mounting bolts, I don't think they are Aluminum but? A conversation w/ Pelican regarding my order today makes me think that the front and rear calipers for my car should be the same size, they definately are not. ![]() ![]() Thanks, Travis

If the mounts are 3.5" OC then they are either A or wide A, both use the same pads.
M mounts are 3" OC

Was A the early '75 and would they use the same rebuild kits as M?

Quote:
note that there was a typo in my 1st response, the mounts for A and S and wide A are 3.5", these all have the pads w/ the same planform, but the S pads are thicker
