Rear ride height adjustment......
Hey guys/gals,
Can anyone point me to the thread on rear suspension adjustment for a Mk1 car....It's a 70 911T so I suppose it would be a Mk1 second series long wheel base car. We are looking from the back and the passenger side is 4" high then the drivers. The hole caps are removed as is the torsion tube end cap, however do not want to start unbolting things without knowing what to do. This how we got the car and have never played with torsion before. Thanks all, M- |

You should re-post this in the 911 Technical Forum for advise from those who have done this job before. You can also try the Early 911 Registry: Early 911S Registry Bulletin Board - Powered by vBulletin

Do a search, there were a couple of recent threads on this subject.

In addition to what you find here, Wayne's "101 Projects for your 911" (http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/ShopCart/BOOK/POR_BOOK_bkptec_pg2.htm ) details the steps.

You will need to re-index torsion bars. The process is much harder than it sounds.
