911 Euro Carrera Targa 2,7: Engine correct ???

Hello,

Somebody offers me a Euro Carrera Targa 2,7 1975, unfinished Resto, well priced...
I would need some help and advice for this engine (still in a car), originaly a 2,7RS from a 911 Euro Carrera Targa 1975 in Europe.
But I do not know if the engine number is correct or Restamped, I can not read the "911/83" on the case (7R) , the metal there looks a bit strange, i did not try to clean because afraid to damge it more.
Did you have any experience with something similar ?

665 0584 is correct for a 911/83, MFI 2.7 Carrera, MY'75.

Well my research says it's correct engine but a 3.0L not a 2.7. I'll try a copy the link where I got my info. Standby
