Doug has emailed me about the possibility of making a SCWDP sticker.
We, the SCWDP are willing to deal with outsiders who are knoweledgable in graphics design. I doodled for about 10 minutes with our computers ancient Photo suite edition and came up with one idea. Any others? (Notice, the SCWDP will not be held responsible for any person/persons who become so incredibly attached to the SC make that they suddenly want to trade their model in a "Superior Carrera".) I hope this loads right. I wanted to make the "SC" portion in Porsche font but I couldn't find anything close. The crest I freehanded so I don't want to hear any crap!

I hate crapping up any car with lots of stickers and other unnecessary stuff, but I would definitely put one of these on my SC!
Just tell me where to send the check.... Magilla

Coooooooool.
Now let's see of we can integrate that "you're bases all are belonging to us" type theme! This brings up another issue. Are there any "rules" to satisfy club membership? My car is barely recognizable as an SC - but it will always proudly carry the VIN. Maybe it can be some sort of a covert turbo spy. HA!

As the co-conspirator with our Founder, I told him I would initiate the production of these stickers, when a suitable graphic design is submitted.
So far, I think Leland himself has shown the best designs overall. Not bad for a fellow sitting on a bomb shell, in the middle of some gawd-forsaken wasteland, eh? Now, this is what I told Leland I will do: For the person who submits the best design, (COMPLETE with a production ready image file), I will award said person a $50 gift certificate to Pelican Parts. If you accept the award, the design thereby becomes the property of the SCWDP for the purposes of the sticker, (and whatever else we choose to do with it after drinking too much beer.) As I told Lee, I can barely sign my name let alone do computer graphics, so we're relying on you gifted Pelicanites out there. As far as the stickers themselves are concerned, I will have a huge batch made up at a local shop. Any SC owner (with a VIN) who wishes a couple of stickers for their car, will get them for the cost of mailing. And thanks to Leland for his approval and help to get this project going. The R-Gruppe can't have all the fun!

I am all for a sticker, but we need to keep it small so we don't draw the attention of the PCNA Logo Gestapo.
Remember the 911fanatic emails? Tom |

Here's a couple of ideas I just knocked up(!) I have a copy of the Porsche font somewhere but will have to look it out tomorrow. I doubt if the all seeing eye of Dr P will let you get away with using their badge on the sticker - officially of course.
Will send more tomorrow Mark Lintott 964 owner

Great looking designs. Keep'em coming!
(Bob Tilton...these are very good, even without the crest.) As far as PCNA is concerned, they'll have to *find* the "virtual executives" of the SCWDP first if they don't like what we're doing.

I think this is a great idea! I don't have any stickers on my 79SC yet but a good place seems to be (for coupes) in the corner of the rear 1/4 window. That's what I had in mind w/ this round one.
