Jumper cables backwards on 1979 turbo
I mistakenly connected the jumper cables backwards on my 1979 930 Turbo. Now with a charged battery. The engine cranks but won't fire up. I don't hear a sound from the CDI. Does anybody have any suggestion on a fix.

Good chance you fried the diodes in your alternator.
