Ferrari Fly Yellow 993. How many were made?
For all you guys with the fact books, a little help. I found a low milage '95 993 that I am told came from the factory as an option painted Ferrari Fly Yellow. How many of these cars came this color? If someone has a pic of the car, or color, it would be appreciated. I like the idea of the rare color holding the cars value. Thanks in advance.

I also think yellow 911's are "da bomb" but I doubt whether this color (or any) will bring an appreciatable amount of value to a car. Unless it is a really ugly color like that turd brown they came out with

quite a few
"Fly yellow" has been fairly popular in recent years, (don't know about the Ferrari part- Porsche has their own), it's a cool color. If looking at a '95 993, make sure price is right. Varioram came out in '96, depressing resale of '95's, (first year for car).

Sepia Michael Sepia, watch those vernaculars or you'll be relegated to the other forum.
The 89 Speedster came in Fly Yellow. Last edited by Mrdi; 12-21-2001 at 06:36 PM.. |

Porsche's 993 yellow was "Speed Yellow" which looks like Fly Yellow in pictures but has more of mustard hue to it in real life. Fly Yellow would have been a custom color like you say and thus fairly rare. BTW: Fly = Ferrari Light Yellow
