What are these fuch's worth?

I am working on 993 conversion car and I don't think that I like how these look on it. I dont know the size of the wheels but the tires on them are front 245/40/ZR17 and rear 285/40/ZR17. They are replicas with fuch cores and look really nice on a rsr flared car. I want to find out what they are worth and eventually sell them.

Obviously not being original they wont fetch a fortune, but there are alot people who like the bigger wheel. A quick search on evil bay will reveal some prices for new repro's and give you a rough guide perhaps.

If equivalent to modified Fuchs available from various sources, they could be worth +$2000 for a set. Here's an old list of companies:

Fuchs,Custom Wheels

Add or subtract cost to restore.

You can add TRE Motorsports to your list of companies building modified Fuchs.

So the wheels are 17" wheels with genuine Fuchs centers welded to the 17" barrels? If so then they look to be 7x16 Fuchs centers which means they might be made by TruDesign in CO. Lindsey uses 6x16 centers.

If all this is correct (17" RSR width wheels, real Fuchs centers welded to the 17" barrels, straight and true within Porsche tolerances, no cracks or crack repairs, excellent condition with known history i.e. not tracked, just street wheels) then I'd say the wheels are worth $2000-$2500. No history but also no cracks or crack repairs then $1500-$2k.

I might be interested at $1500!

nice catch....those do look like 7's which would rule out Lindsey.

I'd recommend posting pictures of the backsides as well.

I was using the picture from the slant nose just so people have an idea how they would look on a SC with rsr or turbo flares. As far as the roller goes, I am using the chassis to build a 993 TT conversion. Thanks for your input.

They definitely look nice. Wat finish are they? Anodised or painded. Can't quite tell from the pic?

They are anodized, but dirty. They can use a good polishing.
So does anyone out there know what the weird looking numbers mean??

These are my TruDesign 17 X 8 and 17 X 9.5....I can tell you it will cost more than 2500 to replicate those. They appear to be 9 and 11 but hard to tell for sure....just have to measure.

Thanks. Just wondering. Means they can be polished rather than cromed to get a great finish....

Yours look great!
