Hagerty Insurance Top 10 Investment choices

Just an Interesting read thought I'd share.

My 87 911, along with a few other vehicles I own are classic car insured via Hagerty. Hagerty always puts out a nice quarterly magazine. In the summer edition that came out last week, they have an article listed as "Cars to buy now", based on possible future investment potential. Oh sure its all opinion based on how you read such things. But nice to know that the place that specializes in Insuring these beautiful cars, also thinks that the stats show there possible up an coming in the collector market.

Top choice was the 76-89 911 Turbo, and 7th on the list is the 84-89 911 Carrera.

Interesting, mine is on No7, but shouldn't this be in OT?

I'd be interested to see a side-by-side comparison of their "top ten" picks and their rates by year/make/model.

Buying cars as an investment? C'mon.

It can be, but it's VERY rare.

Buy low, sell high, as they say.

Porsche phile

at work right now and left the mag at home. If I can remember when I return next week, I'll scan that article for ya and post here as an update.. The give details on all of the 10, make comments about why they feel that particular year might be more sought after than other years. However, they dont directly give a side by side comparison.
