Pelicans in the Salem, VA area
sorry this is non-tech, but the regional forum has not had a post in more than 30 days, so not thinking many look at it.
I was wondering how many Pelicans in or near Salem, VA area. Wondering if anything going on there the last week of July and first 2 weeks of Aug. I will be in the area on business and thinking about a road trip in the cab. Might come home through the hills of NC.

wow, no one? I have two weekends to kill (last weekend of July and first weekend of August). Anything 911 related going on within a 4 hour drive of Salem/Roanoke? Raliegh? DC?
