Hubcaps or not?

The 356 forum doesn't get much traffic. First new set of tires in 18 years. Original size. They look like a small motorcyle tire. Still handle amazingly well. Anyway I like the look without the hubcaps.

Cellphone pics and almost dark out.

I get over to the 356 forum when there is something other than spam there.

No hupcaps.

Another vote for no hubcaps. And no bumpers! And keep the primer.

The sweet part about that car is the engine. One of one of those while you're in there do anything it takes. By none other than the maestro Harry Pellow. Keepin the Faith

If you stay with flat-black / flat primer then no-caps.

If you decide to update the paint to say glossy-black, then put them back on.

Either way, nice car

Agreed. No caps gives it the vintage racer look. Caps give it the vintage cruiser look, but doesn't go with existing paint.

No hubcaps with that primer paint job. You do know that unless that primer is epoxy, it will absorb water and allow the underlying metal to rust?

1720's don't recall the cams, 44 webers etc. When I got the car in 91 it came with Secrets of the Inner Circle. Long story short had the Maestro pull all his tricks. It started as an S and with all the right stuff is supposed to have 120hp.

With these stock size tires the rpm's at 70 are where the factory manual said it should be. I have a 19mm sway bar in the front and after ordering what I thought were the correct replacement bushings they are not the right thing. It is the drop links that are shot.

I have a Z bar in the back that lost one of the adjustable drop links years ago so finding the suitable replacement there may be a tall order.

In other words I have some work to get the suspension back up to snuff. I need to replace the dash pad cover. I did the auto's int full leather probably 15 or 16 years ago. That leather dash pad cover shrunk bigtime in the 5 years I used the car as a daily driver for 5 years in the blazing West Texas heat.

Flat black primer till I get all the annoying imperfections worked out.

Seeing your car reminds me of the primer gray 1750 roller crank Super 90 that I had back in the 70's. Wish I'd never sold it.

Driving by the firework stands today I see an image going back to my youth big time. So I'm thinking what would this look like in the typical Pegasus position. Possibly take the black cat out and do the eyes in red?
