Post your Porsche and Parents pics here!

Well, my dad was a street rodder and muscle car guy. The closest he ever came to a sports car, would be a not so stock MG he had back in 1970-71. But I got this really cool pic from my mother in law last night. My wife's dad has always been a sports car freak, and particularly Porsche. So post pics of your parents or grandparents and their Porsche in this thread. I know it is not so technical, OK, not tech at all... but it might be a fun thread with some very interesting photos.

I will start with pic I already spoke of. My father in law in his 1952 cabrio with his then then girlfriend and her little brother... If I remember right, I think he said the car was either gray or some kind of blue. I need to talk to him again.
This photo is in front of his girlfriends house in 1955 or 1956 I think. They both grew up in San Clemente, CA.

These two are from when my dad was campaigning these two cars in SCCA club races. The tangerine car was actually a 912 and he drove it on to win the championship in 1973. I believe this first pic was taken at Elkheart Lake and the second one is from Road Atlanta I think.

The blue one is a 911T and he won the championship with it in '74.

Check out the awesome hairdo and sense of style!

Super cool pic btw Shane!

Cool pics guys... keep em coming. Got me thinking it would be cool to have a then and now pic. My father in law has been trying to find his old cabrio for years. His mom sold it for $1500 in 1958 while he was serving a church mission...

Best thread in a long long time. Excellent. Keep them up. Wish I had something to add. But alas no Porsche in my family.

I also apologize, I have no pics of my dad in his Porsches, however, this is an AWESOME thread! My dad's first Porsche was a blue 914, then when he found out my mom was pregnant with me the story is he didn't say a word, walked out of the house, came back with a brand spankin new Gaurds Red '83 911SC and said "okay we can keep the new yard guy" Lol, did the same thing with my brother and bought a black '84.

I remember riding in the black car and he'd let me "light the afterburners" which was essentially pushing the defroster button or something and he'd stomp on the gas. Lol, which was as close as I got to come (at the time) to flying fighters like my dad.

I'll have to scan some pics, I've got prints of him, the cars, etc... The only digital pic I have of him is a terrible one (both quality wise, and I think he weighs' like 120lbs in it right before he died) or I'd post it.

is it just me, or does there seem to be some kind of recurring theme about Porsche's and getting pregnant?
