Proper Jack Points for 1987 Carrera

I am looking for the correct jack points for using a lift with my 1987 Carrera. I would appreciate any suggestions or links if available.
Thanks
Kendall

I think in '87 Porsche added jacking points to the 911 chassis. The front mount should be lined up with the rear most section of the front fender. The rear mount should be directly underneath where the rear spring plates go into the chassis.

Yep, just ahead of the rear wheel and just behind the front wheel along the rocker panels. They are kinda small but they are there. Watch the AC and oil lines. Ken

search lift points..........

My 88 gets lifted by the center of the engine in the rear. By far the safest way. Those 6 ton jack stands that you have sitting around that are too big for anything are perfect for the rear height when the torsion bar covers sit on them.

The front cut a 2x4 to go on the channel between the torsion bar mounts and put the jack stands under the mounts.

I think he is referring to using a lift. My '87 has jacking points at basically the four corners of the main pan, behind the front wheel and ahead of the rear.
