front hood and alarm

ronin lb, thanks for your help. it was an aftermarket alarm preventing me from opening the front hood. i jumped the car at the starter and to my amazement the hood opened. now i'm trying to disconnect all the alarms bits and pieces. one weird one is that the fuel pump looks like it is wired directly to the battery. you got to love the 70s technology.

anyway thanks again for poiniting me in the right direction, i would have never thought alarm and would have probably cuts some big holes in my car.
