Question aluminum pedals?

I just got done changing my steering wheel to the 930 one from from AJ I think it was called, now I want to update some more and am thinking of the aluminum pedals with drilled out holes. Did anyone do this to their car? Any input on where to get them(probably here) and how it came out as well as how hard it was to install would be great. Thanks in advance.

I installed the race set from AJR. The gas pedal is a full replacement of the standard plastic part, the B & C pedals are screwed onto the face of the standard pedals [sans rubber - need to drill the stock pedal faces].

Its a nice upgrade - mainly cosmetic, although the gas pedal is a beautiful piece of billet work, and the extra width makes for easier heel/toe dancing.

Tony's right on. Kiwior's got a set of the AJ pedals on his 86 and they're quite nice- especially the gas pedal.

Also did the AJ-USA pedal change myself. I really liked the high-tech look. I bought them from AJ and also purchased the heel-and-toe attachment to the gas pedal. I've got narrow feet the the additional width helped. I also purchased a set of aluminum floor panels from GT-Racing for both the driver and passenger side that replaces the plywood versions. It probably is heavier and is expensive for what you get but the look is impressive (if only I could drive as fast as I looked).

As mentioned in the previous post, installation is straight forward. Remove old rubber pedal covers, overlay new pedal covers, mark hole locations for attachment bolts, drill and bolt on new cover facing. The gas pedal is a direct replacement for the current one using all stock location and mounting points.

I have sparco pedals, bought them before I saw AJR ones. Look in the Excellence magazine, I think there are more pedals (styles)offered in there

AJUSA race pedals here, with the black anodized dead pedal for the past 2 years. They work great and do not slip when wet. Easy intall and they are well made.

See by PP web page for how they look.

OMP model 1010 clutch and brake, Wings Engineering "Third Foot" on the gas, and an AJ USA dead pedal. The Third Foot has adjustable height, so it makes it easy on the track.

Hey George,

My brother just bought a house on Sandalwood, off Shore Drive near Seashore State Park. He'll be in the market for a 911 soon so maybe you two can hook up.

I have a nice set from Rennline Design (www.rennline.com). Great quality, includes a dead pedal, and only $185 (I got em for $150 back when they were just first getting started). Highly recommended!

Echo Colby's comments on Rennline. I've bought a few items from them including the perforated aluminum floorboards. They sell alot of stuff on Ebay, so you can save a few bucks. Paul is great to deal with and very honest.

I have been looking at the pedals from many of the catalogs and thought the ones with the rubber inserts woudl make more sense that the all aluminum for mostly street driving? Has anyone found that the with the all AL ones they do not get the grip with normal street shoes?

I am looking at the AL one with the rubber inserts from AJ.

That is one cool cockpit
That looks like a Momo Race steering wheel, I have one like that myself. Where did you get the P crest for the center? I haven't been able to get one.

Bought the full set from Paul @ Rennline. Excellent quality. Had them on for about a year (including dead pedal). Hard to believe that I would drive without them. My daily driver's pedals aple in comparison.
