Where do these bits go?
Have just finished re-assembling by 1980 3.0 SC engine and have a few parts left over as photgraphed.
![]() I know the piece that has the two large holes is for the oil breather lines from inlet/ Oil tank but not sure where it bolts to the engine. If anyone has pictures of these pc's fitted I would really appreciate it.. ![]() ![]() |

The 2 eyes support the hoses above #6 attaches to the air box
The large piece is the inside of the air cowl that channels the air to the oil cooler behind the #6 cyl The L shaped piece supports the fuel line and electrics center front of engine. One side bolts to the accelerator console on top of the engine The last part looks like the flat that holds on the turbo air filter above the airflow sensor. dont recognize it for an SC, Ill have to reflect on that for a while... Thanks for the detail reply, that is very helpful!!!
Now my problem is bigger than I thought, I have totally assembled the engine and it seems the big piece goes under the engine cowl! Looks like I will have to take everything back off. Bugger |
