Some Porsche differ from me
On the highway on the way home all traffic being forced from two lanes to one. Everyone in the left lane, myself included, was picking a spot to merge in. I notice a cayenne in the right so I out my blinker on to pull in front thinking fellow Porsche owner thats nice. The douche sped up and closed the gap so I couldn't get in. I couldn't believe it. So I thought that's weird, tried again, same thing. So forced my way in, and I mean forced. Show some respect. Guess not everyone appreciates the classics or the history. I drive an 86 coupe by the way.

You can't do a New York move driving a car like a Porsche.....you need to cut in front of the Cayenne, Cadillac, MBenz, BMW, anything expensive with your beater. Preferably one with two or three colors of paint and some rust showing. They will always give ground to a beater with nothing to lose, not so for a Porsche.

I was working on my car when I lived downtown in the parking lot after a Laker Game when this SOB in a brand new black cayenne pepper spat on a neighbors car for blocking him in when the sign clearly said parking is for residents only and was clearly numbered as well. I chased his a$$ down and stopped him to wait for the Police. Then MF tried to run me down I had my wrench with me and smacked the side mirror off as he passed.

I can't think of a driving situation that makes me more angry than someone speeding up to prevent you from merging. What is the point? In the end it slows everyone downecen more.
I will always let a car in if I see their signal. Particularly since I got the 911 because I don't like to be an example of an ******* Porsche driver (like the one you met). Last month a guy wouldn't give me room so I gunned it and got ahead of him and the 3 cars ahead of him. I made it through the next light, they didn't.

There is a clear disconnect when it comes to Cow Horn peppers and other newer versions of Porsche automobiles when it comes to our cars. I don't know what the big deal is, EVERYONE knows that ours are the coolest and by far the best looking. I have people tell me that everyday.

I think new Porsche owners buy their cars for the image, and they care too much what others will think of them for driving a new Porsche,
we buy these cars for what they are, I for one do not car what people will say or think of me for driving one, they can call it a VW, or a Beetle or whatever, but I forget it all, once I turn the key and hear the ramble in the back......... I say let everyone in and take your time getting there, after all the longer it takes you to get there the more time you spend in your Porsche.............

I was passed by a 996 on the way to the track at approx 6:00 A.M, last month,he had numbers on his car so i knew he was going to Le Circuit Mont Tremblant as well and me being polite i looked at him and proceeded to wave hello but the jackass didn't even acknowledge my presence ! Turns out he was in the same run group as me and i purposely made it a weekend thing to stage next to him at every session and run up his ass and make sure he saw my black 89 in his mirrors before he would have to wave me by ... lol There is a God and revenge IS sweet  Cheers !
