87 carrerra steering wheel
I'd like to purchase a new steering wheel . One of my criteria is to get the wheel closer to me via a deeper offset or whatever. I'm tall and have to reach quite a bit now to hang on!! Any ideas would be appreciated..I prefer to stay around the $200 range..thanks

I have Momo Model 07 in the 993 and love it. It's dished which brings it closer to you, I have alcantara but pretty sure you can get leather if you want. OMP Corsica is very similar but has even more (deeper?) dish.

There are steering wheel spacers available. Or, if you install a quick disconnect, that device will place the wheel closer to you.

When I bought my 930S wheel I also purchased the offset spacer. It moved the wheel closer to me (long legs).
There is also a factory wheel that has a spacer but it is not offset: ![]()

Right on! Also for the later Carrera's. Pour yourself a tall one and jump in. Cheers, Gerry
