Stock Brakes for 78 911SC?

I was wondering if ATE made the calipers for the stock brakes on a 1978 911sc?

Were they single or 2 piston?

Not sure if ATE made them but they make the rebuild kits.
They're 2 piston calipers.

Thanks !!!

I found a pair of ATE rear calipers with vented & drilled rotors in the garage.

I'm thinking they might be aftermarket.......

Stock SC brake calipers.........

There are two (2) pistons in the brake caliper of SC's front and rear. Each piston sitting behind the brake pad. Depending how people count or call them. For example, stock 993 brake calipers have total 4 pistons per brake caliper yet I see some people refer them as two-piston caliper. Maybe someone could clarify this confusion if any. Thanks.

SC used iron calipers from ATE, 2 piston, here's front and a rear

993 used 4 piston calipers from Brembo

most 964 used 4piston f/r but there were some early C2 that used 2 piston rears

there is a cheaper 1 piston sliding caliper design that is used on most other cars on the road but not Porsche

So

from where my 1980 SC calipers come from?
(I found it mounted. They work fine)

Are they from a 964 too or a 930?

Thanks

those are not stock 911 calipers, there are many possible places that they could have come from but the most likely source is from the front of a 964, the rotors are probably from a 3.2 Carrera
