Post RarlyL8 - question

Hey, how are you coming on your turbo install? I'm right into the meat of mine right now and had a couple questions. What year engine are you putting in? (that will determine which questions to ask!) Mine is a '92 C2T into a '78 SC body. I need to find a way to lock both shafts on the alt/fan assembly together to spin from one belt. Also I have a coil mounted on the engine but also a "box" mounted on the carrier plate that has what looks like a coil wire tower in it. Anyone?
Marc

Hi Marc, glad to see you're making progress. Unfortunately, mine is slow. My job, wife, and kids won't give me any time to myself (go figure). The motor is all there as well as most of the parts. I think all I have left to decide on is fuel delivery, one pump vs two. Spent way too much on go fast goodies, but I fugure now is the time for that. Just got the 930 torsion bars in last week and will head to the allignment shop on Monday. Had to add Neatrix spring plate bushings as well, what a fiasco that turned out to be. Car looks a bit odd with the butt not dragging any more but handles rock solid.

My SC is also a '78, and so is the 930 engine. This simplifies things a bunch. I won't claim to know anything about the later turbo motors, sorry I can't help. You might contact Michael or Stephan at ImagineAuto, I think they have done that swap.
