1968 911L Wiring Diagram...does anyone have one???

Looking for an accurate one of these, as everything I have seen that is good quality available on the net is not for my car. The one I do have that is for mine, is not high enough resolution to determine which point the wires attach to on certain switches.

For instance although the one listed below is for my car, in trying to zoom in and see to which connector on a the light switch a wire goes, I can see the color of wire, but can not distinguish what the number of the pole on the switch is.

If anyone has a high res file for a 1968 911 wiring diagram I could so use it.

The one I do have is fro a 1965 911, although it seems I have most of the same wire colors, I am not sure if it is all the same...maybe someone else knows better than I?

Thanks
Brad

Brad, the 68L diagram is the same as the one you have.

You can download a pdf of diagram L57 here, from our friend, fellow Pelican Sherwood Lee.

PorscheWiringDiagrams

These diagrams are actually pretty simple, I like them more than the "current flow" diagrams of the later cars.

Good luck!

And before I even realized it, I actually already had it!

Guess I didn't look closely enough at those ones

Brad, finding the correct wire is a challenge, I just bought $100 or so from Rhode Island Wiring, Rhode Island Wiring Service Inc., the colors are a very good match for the original, and they also sell the correct brass double crimp fasteners. I'm trying out some Neoprene heat shrink tubing from McMaster-Carr that I think will replicate the early rubber covering exactly, will post that up here when I test it (probably tomorrow).
