Battery drain eliminated, rust issue ensues.

Ok, so I found my parasitic battery drain. It turned out to be an unfused lead from the positive battery terminal to the power windows.

During the course of removing the battery I found a nasty rust issue where my negative battery post grounds to the car.

The upper left hole is where I just cut the current post out. But it appears this repair may have already been done once before as you can see from the larger vacant hole below it.

How should I go about fixing this, and where is the optimal place to ground my battery now?
