Factory Radio won't work
Anyone have any idea why after replacing the fuses in the front and also the one connected to the radio unit itself I can't the radio to work? I do not have any other electrical problems in the interior, so I don't know what to try next. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean "and the one connected to the radio itself" ?. If you have an 85 911, then you probably have the signal amplifier because of the embedded antennae in the windshield... maybe that got disconnected?. Amherst?....that puts you within spittin' distance from me...

Finally found someone in Buffalo area! Do you still have the factory radio? There was a black wire in the back of the unit with a small glass fuse. I replaced that but still no power at all. I'll try a photo tomorrow. There is one wire that seems loose after playing around. Which one is the signal amp? Thanks.
