First time installing ignition wires-3.2

Rookie question:

Installing wires on my 3.2 for the first time. Do I have to remove the a/c compressor or can the wires be pushed through underneath it? If the a/c needs to be moved do I have to:
1. Loosen the bolt for the tensioner first
2. Loosen the four bolts holding the compressor to the lower plate and remove

Sorry for the "easy" question for you pros, I just don't want to mess anything up.
Thanks!

If the original wire looms are still on you'll need to unbolt the compressor. If not, you might be able to snake them through.

Removing the compressor on my car is pretty easy except for the holdown bolt on the right side toward the front. I have to use an offset box end wrench to get it off. It's not hard, just slow.
