Opportunity for Pelican Parts
Wayne,
We need your help and input. As you have probably already read, the search is on for those of us who plan to attend the Hershey Swap Meet to get together once we arrive. There is talk that a Pelican of some sorts on a hat - sticker, etc. would be appropriate for this event. In addition, a bunch of PP cards to hand out would also be of great value. There will be over 700 P cars and over 400 vendors selling parts. What do you think about handing out cards for some free advertising? Steve |

count me in.
It needs to be something obvious-like a hat or a shirt. A secret handshake isn't what we are looking for. Gary ![]() |

I think we should get some press/back stage type tags to hang around our neck. We could even print them out at our own home and get something to put it in. What do you guys think?

I have a box of 500 T-shirts sitting next to me. I haven't really told anyone about them, because we've been sooooo busy, and also I wasn't 100% happy with them either (they have some printing errors...)
??? -Wayne

Start throwing them in as a freebie when somebody orders both a competition seat and a strut brace in the same week.

what about a pelican tent? I've never been to Hershey, but a centralized PP hangout would be cool as hell.

Wayne,
If the printing errors are not too bad, what do you think about handing some out at Hershey? You know how folks like freebies and it would be good advertising as long as the name and Phone # is correct. Steve |

Personally, I can't wait until Hershey!
As it gets closer, we ought to plan a Hershey Caravan as well. Perhaps Pelican can get a vendor space? Use it to promote the website, technical items, Wayne's book...etc....?

I know where the swap meet will be (duh....)
But WHEN will it be? Anyone have a link to an 'official' website? Thanks, -Z.

It is april 20th.
The Central Pennsylvania Region's website is http://www.centralpaporsche.org/ The only thing, they don't update the site often, so their isn't any info on it yet. But I know for a fact that it is the 20th. |
