New Photos of the 918 Spyder Hybrid

An acquaintance of mine invited me to the last showing to the public of the prototype example which took place in Miami this past Thursday. The event was held in the executive airport and was done to attract potential buyers, since the green light has been given for production and that will take another 2 years +. Anyhow, it was very cool, only a handful of individuals attended, and the car looks is so impressive in person.

Not a huge fan of the seats - I have to say, if you've seen the new GT2 seats (essentially foldable race seats, which I believe are also in the Boxster Spyder), those are some nice seats.

We went to the unveiling of the 918 on Friday in Miami. The car is unbelievable in person. Pics will be up soon!

I hope the dash/console configuration proves too costly for regular production. Love all the rest of it. Side pipes are particularly nice.

Those huge wheels and ultra low profile tires are a big turn off for me ....why would they want to look like the barrio

If I remember correctly, the rear tires were Michelin Pilot Sport measuring 295/25/22's...
