Question Looking for Glass Shop in Portland or Seattle for Targa

I have a 1980 SC Targa which needs some seal replacement. I have the proper seals front and rear (from our host), and a brand new windshield (thanks to the John Walker swap meet last weekend!)

I am looking for a shop that would have the expertise to replace the seals (and install the new windshield). My rear glass is good, but I am not interested in trying to do either end myself.

A trip to Seattle or Portland (the latter is preferred) is quite doable as I am located in between along I-5.

Any and all suggestions welcomed. Thank you in advance!

On the Seattle end I've been very impressed with Professional Auto Glass in Seattle (Seattle Auto Glass, Residential Windows, Commercial Glazing - Seattle).

I had a windshield replaced on my Honda S2000 and more recently had them install a new windshield seal on my 82SC. They do great work and treat your car as you'd treat it yourself.

Give Rothsport, Rennsport or Marque Motors a call and ask for a referral. I'd trust any of their advice.

Thanks for the suggestions - my biggest concern s the rear glass, as everything I read appears to indicate it is extra-difficult, and I don't want to create an6 more issues than already exist!

The rear glass on a Targa will make a preacher cuss.

We have a local Porsche expert paint & body shop guy that charges a lot more to paint a Targa because he hates the Targa rear glass.

I suspect whoever you find will not guarantee the rear glass will not get broken. Good luck.

Two people to ask right here in both Portland and Seattle:
Steve@Rennsport and john walker's workshop. They are two people each with an incredible reputation on this board.

Using the good advise in this old thread by KevinP73 - I was able to do it ALL by myself after my repaint. I would review it to ensure that anyone that does your work is equally knowledgeable.
