need pics - where latch panel meets inner fender

I'm prepping to install a latch and nose panel from another car back into my 72 project car (the previous owner removed the original one as part of an updating plan that never happened).

I could use some good pics of where the latch panel meets the inner fender's upper edge are on each side (on a long hood car, of course). The critical thing appears to be lining up the rolled-over gasket holder portion properly before welding. Looks like the bottom aspects should line up well if the top is correct, but pics of that area would be great too.

This might be especially useful if your car happens to have the front fenders removed, and perhaps the gaskets removed from the latch area. Pics from the side or at an angle showing how the latch panel lines up with the sides would be perfect.

Thanks in advance - Al

Did you try the Early 911S Registry? There are probably more longhood project cars available for your specific photos over there.

Thanks, Milt - that's a pretty good shot. The hole in the side gives me a pretty good point of reference.

Maybe a better question here is the distance from that hole (or another landmark) to the panel.

Flieger - thought I'd save bugging the S site guys for now, the sheer volume here makes this my first "go to" site for most info tidbits. If only I could contribute as much as I've learned.
