addinga whale tail

Yesterday i picked up a used whale tale for $60 off of craigslist but im unsure of if i should put it on. when it come to resell time do you guys think the big spoiler helps or hinders. itll be going on a 83 slate blue SC targa, ive looked a little bit for pics with the same color but, havent found one with a spoiler. if anyone has and pics please send them my way.

I personally don't like the aesthetics of the whale tail. Resale value? I dunno. If you like it, slap it on but don't sell the original lid. That should please a prospective buyer as they could sell the tail for a little cash back. Think of it as a built in rebate

What's not to love?

This is a timeless issue that falls almost completely into personal preference territory. Some love it, some hate it (although I can't fathom the latter ) It certainly will not detract from the value of your car, since most anyone will know it's fairly easily removed, but I wouldn't look for it to really raise the value either.

Just make sure to add a chin spoiler if you put on the tail.
