Chain Rail removal

OK, so I think I am 75% into the dismantle portion of my rebuild. However I am stuck getting probably the smallest part off. I can't seem to get the stupid chain ramps off. There is a spring clamp that the book says should come out with a small screw driver. Is there a trick to getting them off. Should I just dig them out? Probably going to replace them anyway but would like to do things correctly and learn. Plus getting them out the right way will likely aid in getting the new ones in correctly. Any advice is appreciated. Chris 73 911 E

The pins that the rails mount have a ridge machined in them so the rails wire spring snap in so the rails don`t move around. The ones to the outside I use ninety degree screw drivers to get behind each end and just pry them off. The ones that have to be screwed out I back them out then use a screw driver and pry them out of the machined ridge then remove the pins. These rails get replaced so don't worry to much.

Thanks 2 rivers, So I pry them off from behind. Push them away from the case with a little persuasion. Sounds easy enough. Chris
