1 bid for $6.000. and the reserve has not been met. Plus there are some cracks in the Fiberglas that need repair.....I didn't realize that stuff was so valuable.

That's just plain nuts. I know I've seen these advertized for 1/5 the price by legitimate sellers. Note that this guy has only one previous sale. Hold that. This is his first sale. Be very careful.

That was probably a relative or friend that did the bid just to get the ball rolling...YIKES!

This one is a little scary. I'm never sure about Evil Bay since I got ripped off on a 911S distributor. All of the usual warning flags are up on this one.

Wow thanks a lot guys. Didn't know there were so many negative people on this board. Just wanted to post up some of Porsches vintage parts. There is a long story behind the car that they came off of. I have seen just the alloy frame ducktail sell for $4,000 and have not seen a complete set for sale.

Wow, you have been hanging around here for over a year and you just now realized that there were "so many negative people on this board"?
![]() Just kidding. Good luck with your sale.

You're posting in the wrong forum. Parts for sale belong in the "parts for sale" forum. And you may want to mention in the future that you're also the E-Bay seller.

tell us this "long story behind the car they came off", post a few pictures and make it a cool "vintage porsche parts" thread. you might minimize the negativity and get folks to play along, even be interested. the skeptics just see low post dude linking a new ebayer's add for some very expensive parts.. you will learn young jet-I t

Matt M, your dad needs to hook up with the shops that do restoration on real RS's to get that kind of money. I would suggest you get him over to the Early S Registry boards and find out who to contact.

Holy Toledo!! Two bidders have this thing up to $6,600 and the reserve has still not been met. You guys had better jump in here before it's gone. But wait!!
