Can you have too much oil pressure??

Rebuilt a 2.2 engine a few years back. All the mods, etc. plus a carrerra oil pump from a 3.2 ltr. My oil pressure when cold can run up to 6-7 bar on the german "druck" pressure gauge. When it warms up it probably runs ab out 4 bar and at idle 1.5-2 bar. There are absolutely no oil leaks (applause), and no apparent issues. Does this seem normal ??

Sounds fine. 1 Bar per 1000rpm.
