OT but WOW 356A speedster

Check out this beauty, I know it's in the same price range as an SC/Carrera but just look at it. It really does look brand new http://www.californiaclassix.com/garage.html

Thats w replica made by Vintage Speedsters. The dash is a dead giveaway as it doesn't have the double tuck. Check out www.vintagespeedsters.com. Most of the recent movies you've seen with Speedsters have been these cars.

Check out the dash on the red car in the Gallery section of this site under Speedsters. http://www.vintagespeedsterclubofamerica.com Notice the "hump" in the dash vs. the flat dash on the blue car. The "hump" is correct.
If you are looking at a replica Speedster I would go with Intermecchanica in Canada, or there is a good builder accross the pond. I think it starts with an S?

The motor is pure sin, a VW Type 1, ouch! I think it's funny that the guy does not mention it is a kit car and that the motor is VW in his ad. Did you notice he has another in the works, with A/C?!?

What is the world coming too...

you can easily tell it's a replica from a price tag of $19,900

...and he lists the car as a 1957.

Well if something looks too good to be true, then it usually is.....
