Some crazy dude in a Tercel was following me to work this morning....pulled up alongside and was obviously checking out my car....tried to ignore him until he started waving maniacally.
He showed me his PCA card. ![]() ![]() Small world out there. Ever met anyone you've been talking to on the Pelican Forums? ------------------ Mark Szabo 1986 911 Targa 3.2 1987 Escort 5-speed 1.9 RIP The Porsche Owners Gallery |

Met Dan (diverdan) at the TWEEKS event a couple of years ago. Bought a pair of seats off him. I plan to be there again this year - look for the "RARLY-L8" plate!

Any interest in a Pelican board dinner at the Monterey Historics? Or at least meet someplace during the weekend... The featured marque this year is Bentley, the Le Mans car should be here but not too much else
I'm interested in. Bruce Herrmann |

Met up with 'Juan Ruiz' quite a few months back before his ride was t-boned, shame
![]() Nice guy and not as reckless as he may come across on the board. He took me up to Proto Tech in Ft. Lauderdale where the average Porsche had a $50-60K engine. All were immaculate and made me drool!. Made my ragtop feel quite inferior ![]() ....Still, it's all mine and paid for ![]() |

Superman (Jim Christenson) has become a good friend of mine. Helping with his car, auto-x rivals etc.
Also I've known John Walker for many years now. His shop is 3 blocks down on the same street as mine. He has helped me more times than I can count. They are both really great guys. Oh, and can't forget Randy Wells. I love seeing him wield that awesome 72 3.2L Motec injected RS replica around the auto-X course. Very fast. Nice guy. VERY nice car.
