Tire recomendations?

I have an 83 911sc cab with original rims 15x7 and 15-8's ...need to get new tires any suggestions? This is strictly a road car.

I run the Toyo Proxes 4. Going on my 4 set and I really like them.

Not many sizes available for our 15" wheels.

You're going to find a very limited selection in 15 inch tires. I went through this last year and settled for BF Goodrich "G-Force Sport". They behave well, are not expensive, (but I have to say that I was prepared to pay more for a premium tire ... if they were available) and are dedicated summer tires. The rears probably will only last about 10,000 miles and I'm thinking the fronts will do about double that. I've used them auto crossing a few times and at one PCA "skills" day. The alternatives I've found were mostly in the "four season" category, (Michelin, Pirelli, Continental, etc.). If you find something else that's a dedicated summer, performance tire, I'm all ears! Agree - BF Goodrich 205/55/15 and 225/50/15 - Perfect for 1G turns.

Depends on where you are. (Please add your location to your profile). I use the Toyo Proxes T1R and am very happy with them.
