Dent Reomval?
Hello all. I left work today to find a lovely surprise. A golf ball sized dent right above by drivers side back up light and the whole light assembly smashed. Luckily I have a spare tail light lense so on to the dent. I tried the suction cup fix with no luck. I was wondering if a toilet plunger might work. Please don't flame too bad if this is the worse idea ever I am more or less thinking out loud. The dent has no creases to it. Thanks for any help or ideas you may have.
Chris

Chris,
I too have a dent right about my pass lense. Depending on your access to the area you may be able to get to it throught the light assmbly or from the engine compartment. I'll be interested to see what folks say as I'd like to get mine fixed too.

I just tried the plunger with no luck. I will call the paintless dent removal people and see what they say. The paint is intact by the way. Roughly, what do they charge for a job like mine?
Thanks, Chris

My local dent remover removed 11 dings from my P-Car. He worked magic on that car.

id give the dry ice method a try first. heat the paint up in the area with a heat gun and then put a chunk of dry ice right in the center most part of the dent and watch that little dent disappear before your eyes.

Regarding the dry ice, will a blow drier work? Also, who sells dry ice? I contacted a friend of mine who is a mechanic and he recommends a company called "Dent Wizard". Said it will cost me around $60 or so.
Thanks, Chris

I don't know about the East coast, but here, you can go to the the super markets for dry ice.
