I'd like to help but I have no idea as to what you are talking about.
|
Nor do I. Why not get another nut?
|
Captured or welded in nuts?
|

Problem # 1: Inability to adequately describe problem # 2:

I think the loose nut is the one behind the steering wheel.

Glad to hear that you solved the problem.
I hate to even ask but...... What do you mean you "drilled through the other side of the lid". All I can picture is a large bolt/washer protruding through your hood looking completely hillbillyish.(No offense to any hillbilly Pelicans that may be reading this thread, of course.) |
oh so you do know what im talking about before you didnt

I replied early in the am and was not back on Pelican until the evening so I just now saw your responses to the other posters. Again, I'm glad you were able to solve the problem. |

Are you babling about the hinge bolt that attach the engine lid to the hinges? if yes then choose 2, If not choose 1, if neather, choose 3.

But I'll try and tackle this problem nonetheless... Step 1: Like mentioned before, Your typing is HORRIBLE! Please use the shift key on your keyboard to type capital letters for each beginning of a sentence. Consequently, use a point ( . ) to indicate the end of each sentence. If you type all sentences directly one after the other without indicating beginning or ending it kind of makes it difficult to read and understand what your problem is in the first place. Please apply step one in this thread but also in ALL future posts you intend to make. Step 2: it is always good to post pics as an extra aid. A pic says more than 1000 words (10000 if you type like you do....) We would like to help but you make it kind of difficult. Please tell us you did not drill through your decklid... Pics please. Is your problem solved or not?? In one post you say it is and in the next it isn't anymore..... |
I choose 2
