Top roller style latches
Could the electric roller style latches (86-98, serial 911.624.056.03) replace the existing (86-89, serial 911.565.032.63) roller style latches?
I broke my existing 'manual' latch and was thinking that this might be a good opportunity to change it to an electrical one. If it works, then are there any additional parts required for the transition? Do any modifications have to be made? |

the electric tops have micro-switches and a controller relay, so no sense trying to use electric top header latch/motors @$600 each (new) and nothing to run them.
