Thinking of buying a spare 3.2 will it work with CIS?
I am thinking of swapping my euro 3.0 and buying a used 3.2 as a spare, with all motronics and exhaust system. The 3.2 is a US spec engine is there any gains? I dont want a CAT convetor and hence the US motoronic would probably include it and i like the CIS system so i was think if i could swap the engine without changing the CIS, using my euro set up on the 3.2.
Is there any benefit of swaping a 3.2 us to a 3.0 euro?

Since you have all the parts for the 3.2, it is a superior motor than the euro 3.0. Going to cis ( we did that many years ago when a client did NOT have the dme injection or electronics) is only a small step forward over the cis euro 3.0
With the 3.2 your car will be considerably faster, especially since there are chips and exhaust systems that will free up some more hp Its not a difficult conversion- do a search here and you will find lots of threads on the subject

Yes keep the motronic on the 3.2 and headers or your choice exhaust with a chip and you have a new and exciting car.
