I had white gauges with black numbers and black needles.
....they were much easier to see at night than the stock black that I went back to.

North Hollywood speedometer would be a good place to start. They can do pretty much whatever you want.
I heard that they did the Heuer clock face on the Singer - I'm guessing they probably did the other dials as well.

I think he had a thermometer installed there, maybe. They sure do look good.

Yes sorry for the slow response - it is a VDO outside thermometer. They were an option in the 356's and early 911's. I saw one at the Porsche Parade in Ft. Worth a few years ago and wanted one.
I also replaced my oil level gauge (rt side of the gas gauge) with a voltmeter - something that's sorely missing on these cars

Yes, I have over the years had a few. Most of my cars are running are running retrofitted interior LED bulbs. ( This alone makes the standard gauges pop twice as much, very crisp and vivid. Depends of if you feel it's distracting.
I have used, RED, INDY PINK, Yellow, my familys color/blue, a verity. But I strongly recommend you think about if the look matchs you're and how things contrast or work. Sometimes original is best, especially on a very vintage looking interior. If you have a very flashy or aggressive or modern sporty look it can look very nice. I think on the very early Pre-74's a more civil calm balenced scheme works being period correct feels best to me, on the late 70's or 90's stuff depending on color, interior, and so on you can get away with more.
