Question: 964 3.6 with access to a PST2 or Hammer

Can someone please check what percentage the ICV (idle control valve) in the actual values menu is reporting when the engine is at operating temperature and idling with no oher loads (AC, lights, etc.)

I am beginning to suspect I need to adjust my throttle stop to allow the ICV to catch decel events better on mine. Mine reports something like 65% and I would like to see that closer to 50% or even lower just thinking about it.

Thanks,
Ingo

That is in the ballpark. It is not at 50 warm. I think this is due to the cold idle compensation.

I would want it closer to 40 or 50 so it has enough headroom to catch a dip. On the other hand during cold start it could then sit at 60 to keep the idle up.

If it sits at 65 during operating temp it would be even closer to 100% (full open) during cold start and loose its ability to regulate, right.
