Done! She's back on the road again. THANK YOU ALL
A BIG THANK YOU from Prague!
Without all your help, tips, ideas, parts etc, I would have never been able to finish the project. It's great to be part of the Pelican community. Ed You can also see her driving on youtube YouTube - Porsche 911 Targa 1972 2.4E ![]() ![]() |

BTW, this is how she looked when I got her.
She didn't drive for about 17 years. I even found a (covered) bullet hole. Curious what happened to her the last 38 years... Ed ![]() |

Another one saved! We should be compensated by Porsche for keeping such a high percentage of their cars on the road where they belong...... Ziet er goed uit Ed!
Love the color, really nice. Congrats with your 911!!

Thanks. BTW, I'll change the headlights to the original European ones sometime during winter.
Guess owning an early Porsche means you never will be really DONE... :-) Ed |

Sounds good! She will look so much better with the euro headlights
![]() And yes, never finished with a classic car. Especially 911, since they need to be driven and driving means maintenance. But wouldn't want to change my hobby.....

I don't know the '72 paint code, but in '71 I believe that is 8383 Metallic Green. Not a common color. And that was original to the car?
