Match to Gran Prix White rattle can paint
I've used some in the past but it's been awhile and I'm sure the times have changed. I need single stage, because I don't want to screw with a clear coat and a good online/retailer recommendation. The ride isn't a Concour Garage Weenie and it just needs to be passable.....
I need to spot in some blemishes and do an entire front fender.....

I have used spray cans to cover spots on my GP white car. Most any white spray paint will work for small spots, as long as you aren't talking about blending.
As far as a whole fender goes, all I can say is good luck with spray cans. There was a recent thread where some guy used a brush with rustoleom. Do a search.

At my Local NAPA they will mix paint in rattle cans to match. You have to buy 5 cans minimum. It makes a pretty good match. Jut bring the paint code. It was all single stage paint.

Paintscratch.com also has single stage paint.
You can buy one rattle can, or a touchup bottle. I have used both their GP white (excellent) and their Silver Metallic (almost excellent). Single stage. Last edited by tcar; 10-16-2010 at 03:20 PM.. |
