check on new alt wiring please
Installed new alternator with internal VR on a 67 911. Read all posts and THINK I have it correct but want to check. What I did old reg is gone, black DF wire disconnected. Using old reg 3 prong plug I jumper wired the yellow to 86 on the old resister relay which will also have yellow starter wire that was originally hooked to 86, jumped the red/blue as well as single red to 30, ground to 85 since black wire not being used 87 has nothing attached. The blue will hook to dummy light on instrument. Did I get it correct? Thank you.
