Speedo Question
So I finally got around to sending my speedometer off to Hollywood for repair. I drove the car tonight for the first time without the gauge, was expecting the lights that go in the gauge to come on anyway?! But notta! Did I screw something up when I took the gauge out, or will the lights not work without all the wires hooked to the gauge?!

The lights will not work unless the the bulb casings are making contact with the speedo housing.

Right, I think the casing is the ground connection.

can't complete the circuit with one wire. Need ground from shell.

If you are in Kentucky and your speedometer with the lights in it are in Hollywood how did you expect to see the lights?

Rod, just curious, how long has your speedo been with NHS?
They received mine on 10/6 and the tracking number they sent me today has it being delivered back to me on 10/21. The owner (Hartmut) quoted me a 1-3 day turnaround, but my turnaround looks more like 15 calender days - if everything goes as scheduled. Bill K.........(also running with zero dash lights)

They received it on Friday, and are shipping it back out today....!
