A/C Barrier Hose Identification
Is there a way to identify if a prior owner replaced any of the A/C hoses with newer barrier hoses?
Do barrier hoses have any type of coding or perhaps a different OD that I can use to positively tell if they've been updated? Some of the hoses look newer but that's very subjective. I'm looking for a more definitive way to id the hoses. |

My barrier hoses have printed on the SAE J2084 or something like that.

Thanks
Thanks guys. I'll check the markings on my hoses. I know the suspect hose (from the compressor to the evaporator) is an old one and needs to be changed.
Hopefully they don't all need to be changed. |
