Rear Trailing Arm Monoball install

So I'm re-working the whole susp. Bilsteins all around, Poly bronze (F/R), bigger t-bars (22/29), bigger sways (22 F/R), etc... I pulled the drive train out so I have a lot of space to work in. I have the new spring plates in and attached to the trailing arms. I have removed the bolts holding the ends of the trailing arms to the body.

I stopped for the night after I could not pull the ends out of the 'sockets'. I do have to be relatively coherent tomorrow at work Do I have to remove the trailing arm from the spring plate as well or can I leave the plates attached to the arms and somehow pry out the ends from the sockets on the body? I'd rather not remove the spring plates, parking brake, and the rear brake caliper... just trying to reduce the amount of work here... you know I only get from 9pm-midnight to work in the man cave so time is precious.

Thanks!

-Michael

You need to remove the spring plates. You can leave the ebrake cable attached. Brake caliper can remain. Remove the clips that hold the hard brake lines to the traling arm, to give more freedom.
