Tuning of a 911 SC 3.0 -79?

At about 2 weeks I should have my new hobby car home in my garage.
180HP at crankcase, is it enough for 1250kg car?
Tuning of this 3.0 SC engine possible?.
Increase displacement to 3.2 (the same for the Carrera) and 231hp, how much could it cost?

I´m a swede and would be glad if anyone have the experience to tuning this engine?.

I think that every one of us who owns these cars has looked at engine mods. The SC motor is so durable that tuning via increasing displacement, ect. borders on being wasteful. An engine rebuild only goes for $6000-10,000 US depending on what is done and who does it. Add $3000 (at least) for the bigger pistons and cylinders. Hotter cams, Weber carbs and the like can also be considered but add cubic dollars to the project.
Consider adding a free-flowing sport muffler as the most cost effective mod.
