I would like it for my club (not Parade) concours events. How much?
Is that a pre-SC era?

I got the stuff in a recent trade.....I don't know if all the tools are from the same era. The bag is early 70s at least. Some of the wrenches are labeled Germany. Weren't the real early ones "West Germany"?
A self appointed "For sale Nazi" jumped on my butt for posting w/o a price, so I don't want to get busted by the mods for selling stuff in the tech forum.

Even worse...you brought it to another thread (this one) and the tech forum to whine. Man up to your mistakes and quit being such a whiner.

Those are old, 20+ years, worth around $10 bucks. I'll offer you $15

Joe Bob,
I sold one just like your recently for $350.00. Another way would be to look at eBay for a similar tool kit then click on history. Don't let em get to you. Henry |

I guess I'll just part the items out and sell them on eBay. Thanks for the one decent answer, Henry.

Obviously a '73 or earlier kit with tools from several different vintages...some as late as the late 70's. If you want info on which tools are from which kit...and the respective year, this is a good place to start:
Porsche 911 and Porsche 914-6 Tool Kit Content Information @ P914

Looks like you have most of the tools for a 73 with some others from other years.

Yes, looks like what one would keep in a '73 with a 3.0 transplant (3.0 pulley wrench).

Joe Bob,
Do me a favor. Get in touch with Scott Emsley. He is a recognized Porsche tool expert. He has several tool kits for sale currently on eBay. Take a look at his current selection. Scott's email addres by the way is rowdy205ATcsdotcom Personally I would try and complete the tool kit. It is worth far more as a complete set rather than a hodge podge of tools. It does look like you have a mixed set of tools but you may only need three or four pieces to complete your set. Good luck sorting things out. Henry |

Definitely pre-'74. Looks just like the set that was in my '72. The tool just above the spark plug socket is not pre '74. It is for the hold down bolt on the later model battery. The tool just below it I don't think was ever in a 911 tool kit. Looks like a drum brake star wheel adjuster.
Never seen a complete pre-'74 kit go for much less than $300.00
