Porsche Crest Finally resolved (formerly ran, didn't run, distributor pulse generator

My symptoms are finally, finally resolved. Big thank you to Jamie Novak here in Austin for his help. The original intermittent ignition problems were associated with the Permatune unit after all. The rebuilt Bosch CDI unit from Specialized ECU Repair was installed along with a new Bosch ignition coil. Turns out the rebuilt Bosch CDI unit was not sending a signal to the coil. The guys at SER NextDayAired another rebuilt Bosch CDI unit to me yesterday which I received today. SER bent over backwards to help me with my situation. Anyway, we installed the latest Bosch CDI unit and she cranked right up. I took her out for a test drive and lets just say that she got a veeeery good workout. Thanks to all who responded to my posts with their views, opinions and insight. During the test drive, it didn't take long to remember why I love air-cooled Porsche 911s. I still plan on replacing the green wire in the near future. From all the posts that I've read here, it just makes good sense...
