How to fit four cars in a two car garage.

Thought I might share my new lift experience. Its from Superlifts, as is the 4 post SR-7H. The four poster is a DYI project, if you have a few buddies to help. But the single post lift took took two big guys and one even bigger woman 15 hours! It didn't help that they had another lift loaded on top of mine. It was very heavy and all they had was a engine hoist to move around the pieces. They normally use a fork lift.

Original 4 post set up, I decided to go with a single post lift because of space limitations, eight posts in the garage would have been a nightmare.

Painted just in time for the home coming

Cool deal, I'll be looking for that same one-post to go with a 4-post when I can afford it.

Good looking garage.

A Speedster, S90, and two long hoods....

I am obviously doing something terribly wrong.

Nice stable. Sitting in my cube, very green...

Garage
Excellent garage. I have the exact same lift, except in black. However I assembled it by myself (wtf was I thinking), with help in lifting the main runs in place. Very good lifts and I would highly recommend these to anyone. Great quality

Will the single post lift convert to an arm type? Does it do it easily?

Please be sure to have "enough" Porsches in YOUR garage!
Awesome! I wish I had the height in my garage to have a lift like this to park my A6 under the 911 cab!

How much $$ are the 2 lifts? I need to get one....as soon as there is room to walk in the garage, much less put a car and lift in it.

Great looking garage and fleet of cars!! Is the van parked on the street yours also?
Will you raise the arms on the single post hoist and drive over the base for normal parking? I am a little green also.

The picture of just the 4 post is a little old, the Super90 has made way for this custom bodied Roadster, I just won best of class with it at the 356 Registry holiday. I still really miss the Super90 though, 356 coups are under rated. I also added this 48k mile 914, that some guy down the street pulled out of his garage and stuck a for sale sign on it.

Not really, I'm sure something could be fabricated though. I got jack trays for, tire changes, brake work.

I looked at the site and I didn't see anything called a "jack tray." That single post lift sure would be the bomb if you could use it both ways, as a ramp lift and an arm lift when wanting full access to the bottom of the car.

I paid for set up and delivery for each one, the 4post was about 4k, and the single post was about 6k.

Yes, its a 1966 Westfalia camper, I put in a deluxe interior, and recovered all the wood grain formica with retro 1950s style diner laminate.

Yes, the base is low enough to just drive over.

Wow, you do have a nice collection, I had a pearl white/mouse gray 62 SO-22 about 15 years ago, that was fun, especially in Montana. In CA, not so much, too much traffic, to fast, too much stop and go...still kind of miss it though.

/btw - your 66 needs a new front bumper
